I’m tired of small, marginalized groups of fundamentalist religious groups behind the wheel. I’m tired of these dinosaurs in the music industry telling us what mediocre band to listen to this week. I’m tired of re-boots and remakes and a lack of originality in movie theaters. It’s getting to the point where mediocrity and banality are the norm and true art is becoming harder and harder to find. We need to evolve our ideas and lay waste to all these outmoded ways of thinking and business models that don’t work anymore. I don’t claim to have the answers but we need to come together and push the envelope.
I’ve been guilty of cynicism and apathy but I’m trying to change that about myself. In all my personal misery over the past two years I’ve discovered things about myself and a new connection to the world. I’m ready to fire a bullet in the face of blind consumerism, of greed and xenophobia, the status quo and elitism.
All aboard the bullet.
